The latest iOS 7 and iOS 8 gives you the better security even without a single loop hole. I give you some essential tips your iphone’s and ipad’s security.
 

Setting Passcode Lock

 

Your Lock Screen is the first way for defense. Setting a passcode lock is just the basic security way. 

Here the way is :
  • Launch Settings from the home screen and tap on Passcode.
  • Scroll down and tap Turn Passcode On.
  • If you would like to use a Passcode longer than 4 digits, turn off Simple Passcode before you tap Turn Passcode On.
  • Enter a 4-digit or more complex Passcode, depending on what you chose, and confirm it by entering it again.
 
You can also use the Passcode feature along with Auto-Lock, which locks your device after a specified time.
 
Here’s how you can turn on Auto-Lock :
 
  •  Launch Settings from the home screen and tap General.
  • Scroll down and tap Auto-Lock.
  • Select a time period of inactivity, after which your device will automatically lock itself choose from 1 minute to 5 minutes, in one-minute increments.
The time starts from the next second after you left the phone usage and after the time you selected for autolock it prompts at home screen with enter the passcode.
 
Find My iPhone/iPad
 
Find My iPhone/iPad is a great app that can locate your iphone or ipad using the Apple ID. It also helps you when you lost your iphone/ipad.
You can setup it by following instructions :
  • Launch Settings from the home screen and tap iCloud.
  • Sign in using your Apple ID.
  • Turn on Find My iPhone/Find My iPad.
If you lose your device, just visit iCloud.com and enter the Apple ID and password and you can find your iphone/ipad location only if your iphone/ipad connected with data connection and with geo navigation is in on and otherwise it’s difficult.
 

Set Data Backup 

 
If you lose your device, you can get the data like photos,videos etc etc if you backed up the data in iCloud or iTunes, the iCloud gives 5GB storage for this.
Here you can setup it :
  • Launch Settings from the home screen.
  • Tap iCloud and sign in if prompted.
Turn on all the apps whose data you want to back up on this screen.
Your data will now be backed up regularly to your iCloud account.
 
 
Browse with Safari 
 
 
 
For the secure browse, it’s better to use Safari. And it’s the most secured browser in mobile devices. It’s just simple and secure.
